The Wild Aces are proud to welcome back to the ice Maria. Sweet with a touch of sassyness Maria is the full package. Move over Tonya Harding this girl can skate and she’s got the awards to prove it. Maria is one of the most highly decorated figure skaters in Green Bay, winning multiple awards at the high school and collegiate levels. Maria also shows her athletic chops on the Tennis Court for the St. Norbert womens tennis team. So when you see Maria at the game be sure to yell out “Love Love.”

Occupation besides Wild Ace: Professional Figure Skater, College Athlete, Student, Aspiring teacher and translator (¡VIVA ESPAñOL!).

Q: If a movie were made about your life what actor would you have play you in the movie?
A: Miley Cyrus because I have the best of both worlds

Q: What kind of hat would you say best describes your personality? Why
A: Sombrereo porque hablo español muy bien

Q: Are you a twilight fan?  Why? Why Not?
A: I was before the movies came on. Cedrick Digery didn’t quite make the cut for me.

Q: Are you a lover or a fighter?
A: Lover I suppose, but a good fight is interesting.

Q. What food would best represent your personality type?
A: Ice cream because I’m sinfully sweet

Q. Having just met your new team mates… who would you consider the 6th Spice Girl and why?
A: Stephanie because she definitely adds some spice to the group

Q: What NHL Hockey player have you idolized and why?
A: Mario LeMieux, because she’s super cool (get it!?)

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years? Why?
A: Livin’ the dream, just like I am now.

Q: What is something you possess that you are very proud of? Why?
A: I am proud of my family. They have always set the right example for me and showed me that there can be a ton of laughs along with some super hard work. They’re the best and since I’m out of adolescents I’m not embarrassed by them anymore. I’d be proud to take them anywhere with me.

Q: What is your most embarrassing Wild Ace moment to date?
A:  All the times I couldn’t throw the shirt over the glass…there were many of those…

Q: If you could have any particular super power ~ What would if be? And what would you use it for?
A: I would like to move things with my mind. That would be super cool.

Q: Can you tell us something about you no-one knows?
A: I despise reality TV

Q: If you could be a contender on any reality tv show today what show would it be and why?
A: Hence question above…reality TV is dirty, so I’ll stick to Evens Stevens.

Q: If you were granted 3 wished from an angel or a genie what would you wish for?
A: I would wish for a comfortable life, happiness for my family, and happiness for my friends.

A: Celine Dion’s “It’s all coming back to me now”

Q: Would you rather be smart and ugly or dumb and beautiful?
A: Smart and Ugly

Q: Are you usually the Heart Breaker or the Heart Broken?
A: I like my boyfriend, so neither anymore.

Q: What is your favorite game as a kid?
A: POKEMON! Gotta catch ‘em all!!!

Q: Is there anything you’re superstitious about?
A: When I play tennis, I don’t like flipping the score cards. I always think I’m going to lose if I do.

Q: Do you believe in Karma? Why?
A: Yes, because if you do something nice for someone, something good usually happens to you. You can’t go around life being rude and mean to people and expect to live a happy and fulfilling life. Giving is the greatest gift of all, and I am a true believe of the Golden Rule, which is the Catholic version of Karma.
