Jarvelainen comes to the Green Bay Gamblers as one of the best ’93 prospects from Finland. Last season the he played in 41 games for HPK, tallying 24 goals and 28 assists. For his efforts Jarvelainen was awarded the SM-liiga Rookie of the Year. Jarvelainen was also selected to play for the Finnish U18 National Team where he posted five goals and 10 assist in 11 international games, including the IIHF World Under-18 Hockey Championships where he scored two goals and two assists in six games.
