McKay returns for a third season with the Gamblers. McKay had an outstanding 2010-11 campaign. The Miami of Ohio recruit led all USHL goaltenders in goals against average (2.00) and save percentage (.928). For his efforts, McKay was named 2nd team All-USHL. During his rookie campaign in 2009-10, McKay posted a 14-8-2 record to accompany a 2.20 Goals Against Average and a .909 Save Percentage. Internationally, McKay played for former Gamblers head coach Eric Rud (10-11) at the 2008 Under 17 Five Nations tournament in Slovakia. McKay is a product of the Chicago Young Americans hockey program.
