LaPorte brings his rugged style back to Green Bayfor a second tour with the Gamblers. In his rookie campaign, LaPorte notched nine goals, 11 assists and 63 minutes in penalties in 54 games. The Western Michigan recruit registered three goals and five assists in 11 Clark Cup Playoff games. Selected by the Gamblers in the 2010 Entry Draft, LaPorte laced up the skates for Team Illinois AAA. In 47 games LaPorte racked up 21 goals and 25 assists in route to lead Team Illinois to the U18 Illinois state championship.
