Novak got a small taste of the USHL last year, suiting up for three games with the Gamblers. The skilled forward did a ton of damage to the opposition last year at the midget level. With the St. Louis Junior Blues, Novak led the league in scoring amassing 31 goals and 38 assists in 37 games. Novak is committed to Western Michigan University, joining teammates Nolan LaPorte and Sheldon Dries as current Gamblers committed to the Broncos.
