Exhibition game to benefit Junior Gamblers youth hockey

The Green Bay Gamblers will play the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League in an exhibition game on Tuesday, September 21 at the Cornerstone Community Ice Center in Ashwaubenon..  Face off is set for 7:05pm.  All proceeds from the game will be given to the Junior Gamblers Youth Hockey Association.

All tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased through the Gamblers front office beginning on Tuesday, September 7 by calling 405-1265. Tickets can also be purchased day of game at the Ice Center beginning at 5pm.

Prior to the game fans are encouraged to attend the Junior Gamblers Tailgate Party in the Cornerstone Community Ice Center parking lot.  Tailgate begins at 5:00 PM.  Beer, soda and hot dogs will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the Junior Gamblers Youth Hockey Association.

The Gamblers are dedicated to giving back to Green Bay and its surrounding communities.  This past year the Gamblers organization helped raise more than $60,000 for local and national charities.

Exhibition Schedule Set

The Gamblers will open their exhibition schedule with a two game series against the Chicago Steel September 17 & 18 at The Edge Sports Arena in Bensenville, Illinois.  Face-off time is 7:30pm on the 17th and 3:30pm on the 18th.  For ticket information, contact the Chicago Steel at 630-594-1165.

The following weekend the Gamblers will travel to the Fall Classic in Sioux City, Iowa September 23-25.  The Gamblers will play the Lincoln Stars on Thursday (9/23), followed by games against  the Chicago Steel and Youngstown Phantoms on Friday and Saturday.  For a complete tournament schedule, go to www.ushl.com

The Gamblers will kick off the 2010-11 season on Saturday, October 2 as they welcome the Fargo Force to the Resch Center.
